ALME’ (BG): Si ritorna in sella dopo un eccezionale mese di aprile, che ha regalato 6 successi.
A inaugurare la serie è stato Pavel Novak, che ha dominato il Trofeo Piva il 7 aprile, mentre Florian Kajamini ha trionfato sia a San Vandemiano che a Biella il 21 aprile. Successivamente, Christian Bagatin ha vinto la volata al Giro della Franciacorta il 27 aprile. Infine, Lorenzo Nespoli ha portato a casa il primo posto al Toscana Capraia e Limite il 28 aprile, con il successo nella combinata di Mark Valent.
Per il team MBH Bank Colpack Ballan CSB si prospetta un periodo ricco di impegni di vario tipo, tra gare per velocisti, altre più impegnative e un’importante corsa a tappe, il Giro d’Ungheria.
LE GARE: Ma procediamo con ordine, a partire dal 5 maggio con il Circuito del Porto Internazionale, a Cremona. In gara ci saranno Quaranta, Fiorin, Bagatin, Casalini, Balint e Boscaro, con Gianluca Valoti come DS in ammiraglia con il supporto di Rossella Dileo. C’è grande attesa per le nostre ruote veloci in questa gara di livello internazionale, che ci ha sempre visti protagonisti.
Lo stesso giorno in Toscana si tiene il Memorial Tortoli, dedicato al direttore sportivo venuto a mancare prematuramente, ma che il mondo del ciclismo continua a ricordare. Al via Cipollini, Ambrosini, Volpato, Monister e Bracalente, con Flavio Miozzo in ammiraglia a portare tutta la sua esperienza.
EVENTO PRINCIPALE: Subito dopo ci trasferiremo in Ungheria, dove dall’8 al 12 maggio si svolgerà una gara di grande importanza per il team. Si tratta infatti del Giro d’Ungheria, che vede al via numerose squadre di livello World Tour. È un’esperienza estremamente motivante che vogliamo regalare ai partner del team con una prestazione da protagonisti.
La gara ungherese misura 854 km e presenta oltre 7.000 metri di dislivello. Al via ci saranno ben 8 formazioni World Tour (UAE, Jayco, Astana, Ineos, DSM, Bora, Lidl) insieme a squadre professional molto attrezzate come Turdor, Q36,5, Polti, Lotto, Flanders, Corratec ed Euskadi.
Guidati da Antonio Bevilacqua e Davide Martinelli, la lineup del team MBH Colpack Ballan CSB vedrà Sergio Meris, completamente recuperato dopo la frattura al coccige che lo ha tenuto lontano dalle gare per un lungo periodo, insieme a Nespoli, Bagatin, Quaranta, Novak e l’eroe locale Mark Valent.
BEVILACQUA: “Andiamo in Ungheria per fare bella figura”, afferma il team manager mentre si prepara per la partenza da Orio al Serio nelle prossime ore, “contro avversari molto forti. Sarà anche un’occasione per incontrare i nostri partner, che ci seguono sempre con grande interesse. Una volta tornati dall’Ungheria ci focalizzeremo sul Giro Next Gen che prepareremo in altura”.

Guidati da Beppe Dileo, in corsa ci saranno uomini veloci come Fiorin, Casalini, Monister e Boscaro.
Il 12 sarà la volta della Toscana, con il GP del Marmo di Carrara, che nel 2023 ha visto la vittoria di Christian Bagatin. Quest’anno al via ci saranno Casalini, Vesco, Bracalente, Volpato, Ambrosini e Cipollini.
MANY RACES FROM THE CIRCUITO DEL PORTO TO THE TOUR OF HUNGARY
ALME’ (BG): The team is back on the saddle after an exceptional month of April, which saw 6 victories. Kicking off the series was Pavel Novak, who dominated the Trofeo Piva on April 7th, while Florian Kajamini triumphed both in San Vandemiano and Biella on April 21st. Subsequently, Christian Bagatin won the sprint at the Giro della Franciacorta on April 27th. Finally, Lorenzo Nespoli clinched the first place at the Toscana Capraia e Limite on April 28th, along with Mark Valent’s success in the combined event.
For the MBH Bank Colpack Ballan CSB team, a period rich in various types of engagements is looming, including races for sprinters, more challenging ones, and an important stage race, the Tour De Hongrie.
THE RACES: But let’s proceed in order, starting from May 5th with the International Porto Circuit, in Cremona. Quaranta, Fiorin, Bagatin, Casalini, Balint, and Boscaro will be competing, with Gianluca Valoti as DS in the team car, supported by Rossella Dileo. There is great anticipation for our fast wheels in this international-level race, where we have always been protagonists.
On the same day in Tuscany, the Memorial Tortoli takes place, dedicated to the sports director who passed away prematurely, but who continues to be remembered by the cycling world. Cipollini, Vesco, Ambrosini, Volpato, Monister, and Bracalente will be at the start, with Flavio Miozzo in the team car bringing all his experience.
MAIN EVENT: Immediately after, we will move to Hungary, where from May 8th to 12th, a race of great importance for the team will take place. This is the Tour De Hongrie, which sees numerous World Tour level teams at the start. It is an extremely motivating experience that we want to offer to the team’s partners with a leading performance.
